Ryan became a Registered Massage Therapist after graduating from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2018. During this program, he gained experience treating in many different settings, however, his interests are mainly assisting with the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries through the use of manual therapy and corrective exercise. Some of the techniques Ryan likes to use in his treatments include trigger-point therapy, deep tissue massage, taping, and stretching.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, he completed his Bachelor's degree in Physical and Health Education at Queen's University. The desire to continue learning about fitness, health, and overall wellness is what led him to pursue a career in massage therapy.
Ryan enjoys spending time playing soccer, exercising in the gym, and continuing to learn about injury treatment & prevention. Combining a passion for rehab with his experience as an athlete and therapist allow him truly understand the injuries that his clients often deal with.
Ryan really enjoys working with all kinds of people, and especially likes helping athletes of all levels recover from injury and getting them back to doing the activities they love. Whether you're seeking a general wellness massage or looking to establish a rehabilitation-focused treatment plan, Ryan's main goal is to help you achieve your health and fitness goals through massage and exercise.
